In the Men's Ministry we help those in need because Christ has helped us, and in this way, we can use our gifts and talents to follow after Him. We take an eternal perspective in everything we do. What good are earthly accolades or rewards when there are so many around us who face an eternity of suffering & darkness because we did not share Christ with them? If we can sponsor a free pancake breakfast (for example), and one person comes to the Lord because of it, then we consider ourselves more successful than the wealthiest businessman.
In the weeks and months to come, we are looking for more opportunities to reach out and touch this community, sharing the Love of Christ in words and deeds. We will continue to grow as leaders in the church, whether as ushers, greeters, or deacons. We will provide support to all our church ministries, as growing the Kingdom is much more important than growing the group. We are always looking for other men who are looking to be a part of something bigger than themselves to join us in our endeavors.
It is all about Him.
